THE HISTORY
Phoenix Engineering was established in 1985, marking the commencement of its journey from a modest home-based business. The company embarked on collaborations with emerging brands, eventually becoming the exclusive distributor for Hitachi Tools.
Taking a significant step in 1987, Phoenix Engineering secured an official office space, formalizing its entry into the market. During this period, the company expanded its portfolio by introducing NT Tool Products and solidifying official partnerships with both Hitachi and NT Tool.
The establishment of the RNN Tooling System in 1991 operated in tandem with Phoenix Engineering within the same building. This strategic collaboration significantly strengthened the company's presence and capabilities in the industry.
The year 2000 marked a transformative phase for the company. RNN Tooling System and Phoenix Engineering merged into a unified entity, simultaneously opening the first branch on Penang Island. In response to market demand, the company diversified its product offerings by importing a wider range from Hitachi and NT Tool. Accumulating valuable knowledge and experience, the company positioned itself as a reliable partner serving various industries, including automotive, mold, and die manufacturing.
In 2003, the establishment of HTE Technology Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd marked a pivotal moment. The Penang Branch underwent a name change to align with the new entity. Additionally, the company expanded its product offerings, introducing CNC Machine Arbor and establishing expertise in cutting tools for mold and die applications.
Commencing collaboration with AlFatech Industries Supplies (Johor) in 2004, the company managed various brands in its portfolio, aiming to broaden the range of products offered in South Johor, emphasizing quality brands to inform and satisfy customers.
In 2010, the company demonstrated a steadfast commitment to quality and excellence by securing ISO Certification for all the brands in its portfolio. This significant achievement was further acknowledged with prestigious awards from both Hitachi and NT Tool, affirming the dedication to industry-leading standards and outstanding performance.
In 2018, RNN actively participated in exhibitions, acquiring valuable insights and knowledge.
A substantial transformation unfolded during this period, consolidating all entities into the cohesive RNN GROUP. This initiative streamlined operations and fostered enhanced synergy within the organization.
