Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Some employers may prefer a Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in technical sales, engineering, or a similar customer-facing role is typically required.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles, particularly in the relevant industry or field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, software).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate sales opportunities by researching and understanding customer needs, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Serve as a technical expert and consultant to customers, providing product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solutions-based recommendations.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies, including prospecting, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotes, and bids in response to customer inquiries and RFQs (Requests for Quotation).
